472. COMPUTER COMMUNICATIONS
SYSTEMS (Credit, 3 hours). Examines techniques
and the characteristics of components and
equipment utilized as interfaces between computers
and peripheral equipment, DMA techniques,
controllers, multiplexers, concentrators, parallel
and series interfaces, data transmission, communication
protocols, and associated software.
Prerequisite: ELEN 304.
