Academic Advising is one of the many aspects of student learning and helps to promote consistent educational goals and assess a student’s progress toward the goal of graduating. Academic advisement is viewed as a decision-making process. This means the advisor will allow the students to realize their ultimate educational potential through communication and information exchanges with their academic advisor and department advisors regarding their academic progress.
