419. INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DESIGN AND
ANALYSIS (Credit, 3 hours). A study of integrated
circuit technology. The physics of various
devices considered along with fabrication techniques
to provide a basis for circuit modeling,
circuit analysis, and the comparison of devices
on the basis of speed, reliability, power handling
capability, economics, etc. Large-scale integrated
logic circuits and linear integrated circuit design
and application will be for integrated logic circuits
and linear integrated circuits. Prerequisite:
ELEN 313. ELEN 418 also recommended.
