ELEN 426B Intro to Energy Systems

426B. 3 Credit Hours. This course involves the understanding of energy sources and systems, fuels, energy system components, configurations, types and characteristics of the generation units, grid integration issues, alternative energy sources, characteristics and performances, analysis, the infrastructure of existing energy systems, economic and environmental issues of energy generation, transformation and uses. This course covers the critical technical constituents that advance electrical utilization of energy sources and systems.
