FCSC 427B. EVENT MANAGEMENT. (3 Credit Hours). Foundational skills of event management,; overview of the even industry including seminars, conventions, conferences, expositions, trade shows and special events and their operational requirements; discuss current and best practices in the design, planning and execution of successful events and meetings; acquire skills to conduct effective event and meeting management research, including needs assessments, site analyses, situation analyses and feasibility studies.
