453. GENERAL VIROLOGY (Credit, 4 hours)
(Lec., 3 hours; Lab, 3 hours ). Course involves the
study of the nature, multiplication, genetics,
immunology, pathogenesis, and control of virus
infections. Discussions of the most important
human viral pathogens and the use of viruses as
model systems and vectors. Prerequisites: CHEM
340 and 342; BIOL 402.
