401. INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRON
MICROSCOPY (Credit, 4 hours) (Lec., 3 hours;
Lab, 3 hours). Course designed to explore basic
principles governing the operation and function of
electron microscopes. Emphasis is placed on the
preparation of biological material for use in transmission
and scanning electron microscopes.
Prerequisites: CHEM 112, 113, 132, and 133;
BIOL 108, BIOL 109.
