409. INTRODUCTION TO BIOSTATISTICS
(Credit, 3 hours). A course designed to
introduce students to the usefulness of statistical
thinking and statistical application in the
solution of problems in biology and the
health-related sciences. Emphasis is on the
fundamental concepts of descriptive and
inferential statistics. Prerequisite: MATH 140
or the equivalent.
