435. MODERN ALGEBRA II (Credit, 3 hours).
A continuation of MATH 330 with a slightly
more sophisticated approach. Topics include permutation
groups, factor groups, homomorphism
theorems, rings and ideals, including integral
domains, and fields. Prerequisite: MATH 330
with a grade of ¿C¿ or better.
