482. PRINCIPLES OF GEOMETRY (Credit,
3 hours). This course begins with an informal
study of measurement and geometry, emphasizing
the reasoning and processes used to make,
modify, and extend conjectures and definitions.
Also included are topics in transformational
geometry, locus, techniques of abstraction and
generalization, the selections of axioms and
undefined terms, and development of deductive
systems.
