330. MODERN ALGEBRA I (Credit, 3 hours).
An introduction to the basic concepts of modern
algebra. Topics include the nature of proofs,
cosets, and Lagrange¿s theorem. Prerequisites:
MATH 233 and MATH 265 with a grade of ¿C¿
or better, or consent of the department.
