457. CRIME PREVENTION BEST PRACTICES
AND METHODS (Credit, 3 hours). The student
will learn what negligence is, including
civil vs. criminal law, the issue of foreseeability,
and proactive strategizing. The use
of the security survey in and audit in identifying
security needs, ¿premises profiling¿
as well as crime prevention through environmental
design (CPTED), community
oriented policing, and other crime prevention
concepts in the protection of assets on
numerous types of premises. Prerequisite:
CRJU 357.
