435. PROBATION AND PAROLE (Credit, 3
hours). Analysis of the comparison and contrast of
probation and parole supervision, their interaction
with the criminal courts, administrative courts,
and revocation hearings. Detailed perspectives of
sworn versus unsworn peace officer status and the
differing correctional philosophies will be discussed.
Prerequisite: CRJU 310.
