365. MACHINE DESIGN (Credit, 3 hours) (Lec.,
3 hours; Proj., 2 hours). Topics include Part IFundamentals
of mechanical design, theories of failures,
fatigue, and fracture mechanics. Part II- Design
of mechanical elements and lubrication theory.
Individual/team projects are undertaken. Prerequisite:
MEEN 227. Co-requisite: MEEN 335.
