MEEN 374B Aerodynamics I
374. AERODYNAMICS (Credit, 3 hours).
Principles of fluid mechanics are applied directly
to airplane wing sections to produce aerodynamic
lift and drag. Students are also introduced to similarity
laws and dimensional analysis of wings,
fuselage, and propellers, etc. Students also learn to
use computer-aided analysis and design of wing
sections. Prerequisites: MEEN 271 and 312. Corequisite:
MEEN 395.
