CMPS 410B Machine Learning
410. MACHINE LEARNING (Credit, 3 hours). This course will cover the principle of machine learning algorithm focusing on supervised learning and unsupervised learning techniques. The students will learn how machine learning gives the ability to a machine to make predictions or decisions without human intervention. This course provides a broad introduction to machine learning and statistical pattern recognition techniques. The course will also discuss recent applications of machine learning, giving the students the ability to read current research papers in machine learning. Prerequisite: CMPS 200.
