407. NUMERICAL METHODS (Credit, 3
Hours). This course gives a strong working
knowledge in applying numerical methods to
solve problems. Topics include various methods
to approximate desired number, which may be a
root, an integral, or a value of a function in a differential
equation. All of the methods studied
have numerous practical applications in science
and engineering. Prerequisite: MATH 265.
