CMPS 310B Game Programming
310: GAME PROGRAMMING
(Credit 3 Hours). The objective of this course is to give the student an understanding of the history of computer games and understanding the business of game development. Students should be able to produce "arcade-style" computer games with the tools such as processing, Unity or XNA. Students should also learn basic art, animation and graphics needed for game development. Students should learn basic game design principles, be able to story board a game idea & create a design document. Upon completion of this course students will have a set of new tools in game programming and be able to create a wide range of games. The course is targeted to a group of students from computer science or engineering.
