301. LAW AND SOCIAL WORK (Credit, 3
hours). The course provides an overview of the
legal system in relation to helping professionals. It
introduces selected laws and legal authority related
to specific human service delivery systems.
Special emphasis will be placed on ethics. Course
is offered to social work majors in nursing,
psychology, sociology, education, counseling,
recreation, rehabilitation counseling and other
related disciplines.
