SOCW 300B Addictive Behaviors
300. ADDICTIVE BEHAVIORS (Credit, 3
hours). Course designed to examine the psychosocial
aspects of addictive behaviors with specific
emphasis on substance-related disorders, eating
disorders, and gambling. The course will explore
professional literature and social service resources
as well as examine the effects of these problems
among diverse groups.
