130. ELEMENTARY STATISTICS I (Credit, 3 hours). An introduction to basic descriptive statistics and mathematical concepts commonly used in statistics. Topics discussed are percentiles, measures of central tendency and of dispersion, standard normal distribution, correlation, regression, and prediction. Not applicable toward a major in mathematics.
