SMAT 131B Finite Mathematics
131. FINITE MATHEMATICS (Credit, 3 hours). Designed for the business and social science major. Topics include systems of linear equations, vectors, matrices, and matrix algebra; linear inequalities, linear programming; counting techniques: permutations and combinations; probability; basic concepts in mathematics finance (annuities included); and introduction to statistics. Prerequisite: MATH 135 or its equivalence.
