207. INTRODUCTION TO MARINE SCIENCES
I (Credit, 4 hours) (Lec., 3 hours; Lab, 3
hours). A one-semester introductory course
designed to introduce students to marine and wetlands
environments. Topics include the physical,
chemical, geological, and life processes affecting
world oceans but with emphasis on how they influence
Louisiana¿s coastal environments. Team taught.
This course is not a prerequisite for BIOL 208.
