518. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (Credit 3 hours). This course is designed to provide students with an advanced overview of the fundamentals of international business management. The course focuses on providing the student with an introduction to important international management issues, including international trade policy, internal functions as they relate to international business activities, and the strategies of international business. Specifically, the course examines management problems and practices of international businesses, including: organizational structure of multinational organizations, production and logistics, human resource management, marketing and financial management; cultural, political, legal, and other environmental constraints.
