365B. MACHINE DESIGN (Credit, 3 hours) (Lec.,
3 hours; Proj., 2 hours). Topics include Part I - Fundamentals
of mechanical design, theories of failures,
fatigue, and fracture mechanics. Part II - Design
of mechanical elements and lubrication theory.
Individual/team projects are undertaken. Prerequisite:
MEEN 227B and MEEN 235B.
