MEEN 371B Aerothermodynamics of Propulsion

371B. AEROTHERMODYNAMICS OF PROPULSION (Credit, 3 hours). Elementary fluids and laws of thermodynamics are applied in detail to produce thrust for flight vehicles. Aerospace propulsion systems, which include internal combustion engines, turbojet engines and rockets, are taught in detail. Lectures are supplemented with experiments in modern propulsion laboratory. Prerequisites: MEEN 300B and MEEN 312B.
