UFOR 368B Introduction to Remote Sensing
368. INTRODUCTION TO REMOTE SENSING (3 Credit Hours). This course covers introduction to remote sensing. Detailed discussions of different satellites systems will be covered. Strengths and weaknesses of both spaced-based and airborne systems and instruments will be explored in detail. Some of the characteristics of commercially available digital airborne camera systems in the market such as Leica ADS80, Intergraph DMC, Vexcel UltraCamX, Applanix DSS, GeoVantage ExCam and WaldoAir will be discussed in relation to the spectral range, band, accueacy and sensor resolution.
