442. THE SOCIOLOGY OF AFRICAN
CULTURE (Credit, 3 hours). Designed to
provide the opportunity for students to learn
about Africa from a multidisciplinary perspective.
The approach to the study of Africa will
be beyond the traditional definitional boundaries
of sociology to provide students with as
much information as possible as well as to
accommodate some of their individual
concerns and interests in the continent.
