212B (BIOL 232). GENERAL MICROBIOLOGY (Credit, 4 hours) (Lec., 3 hours; Lab, 3 hours). A comprehensive study of the cultivation, microscopy, and the biochemical activities of microorganisms in addition to an introduction to the physiological study of the bacterial cell. Prerequisites: SCHE 132B, SCHE 132LB, SCHE 133B, SCHE 133LB, SBIO 103B, SBIO 103LB, BIOL 109B and BIOL 109LB.
