341. FEATURE WRITING (Credit, 3 hours).
The course takes a look at the differences
between soft and hard news and focuses
on writing and selling feature stories to
magazines and newspapers. Students learn
about narrative and delayed leads, creating
outlines to write the story and how to submit
their ideas for publication.
