379. DISCRETE MATHEMATICS (Credit, 3
hours). A study of some fundamental topics in discrete
mathematics. Topics include counting principles, basic
logic theory, mathematical induction, relations, the
Pigeonhole Principle, generating functions, recurrence
relations, Principle of Inclusion and Exclusion, and
graph theory. Prerequisite: MATH 265.
