345. CRIMINAL LAW AND PROCEDURES FOR PRACTITIONERS (Credit, 3 hours ) Operationalization and implementation of the criminal law process. Types of evidence, direct and circumstantial evidence, witnesses, crime scene evidence, hearsay and its exceptions, privileged communications, detention and arrest powers, search and seizure, miscellaneous searches, self incrimination, identification procedures, and preparation for court. Same as LENF 231. Prerequisites: Junior standing, CRJU 310.
