PPOL 746B Seminar on HBCU Leadership

PPOL 746. SEMINAR ON HBCU LEADERSHIP. (Credit, 3 hours). This doctoral course provides experienced graduate students with a focused exploration of the policy value and implications of the cohort of tertiary education institutions known as historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Through this graduate seminar, students will validate their understanding of the historic and contemporary role, scope and structure of leadership of HBCUs across the United States and this cohort's capacity to influence public policy. Masters students with advanced standing may take this course with permission from the instructor.
