PPOL 728B Thesis & Dissertation Writing

PPOL 728B. (3 Credit Hours). The Thesis/Dissertation Writing course aims to foster the development of the core knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to construct the rhetorical parts of the thesis/dissertation. In this course, students will be guided through a step by step process of preparing to write a thesis/dissertation, writing the Introduction, Literature Reivew, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections of a thesis/dissertation, and will also engage in giving peer feedback and editing and revising each section they have produced in compliance with accepted linguistic and stylistic conventions in academia.
