101B. ELEMENTARY TURKISH I (Credit, 3 hours). Introduction to elementary structures in the Turkish language. Emphasis on listening comprehension, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and grammar structures necessary for developing oral proficiency skills. Classroom work is extended and enhanced by use of multimedia resources for oral comprehension and pronunciation exercises, vocabulary acquisition, grammar, and spelling exercises.
