198. ORIENTATION TO SOCIAL WORK
(Credit, 3 hours). Designed to enable students to
explore their interest in, and potential for, a career
in human service professions, especially social
work. A frame of reference is provided for social
work practice and social work education with special
emphasis on under-graduate social work education
at Southern University. Active learning
experiences will be a part of this course. Intended
for prospective social work majors.
