221. PRINCIPLES OF ECONOMICS I (Credit, 3 hours). Study of the operation and function of the American economic system. Attention is given to current economic problems such as those relating to income, employment, the business cycle, money and banking, growth, and development. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing.
