MUSC 345B Music Composition I
345. MUSIC COMPOSITION I (Credit 2 hours). Music Composition I is a practical skills course designed to provide students the knowledge to express musical ideas through written composition. Students are expected to produce at least one substantive work to be performed in concert at the end of the semester. Contemporary compositions and major musical works will also be studied.
Prerequisites: Harmony 102, 103, 202, and 203 with a grade of C or better.
