439. INTERMEDIATE MANUFACTURING
PROCESSES (Credit, 3 hours). Presents an introduction
to manufacturing processes; deformation
processing theory and practices; rolling, extrusion
and advanced fabrication techniques; powders;
polymers; metals; workability and fracture of ductile
materials in fabrication processes; advanced
machining processes; and design projects.
Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
