MCOM 400B Communication Law
400. COMMUNICATIONS LAW (Credit, 3
hours). Course examines the law, rules, and regulations
of the Federal Communications Commission
and other government organizations as they apply to
journalists. Course also deals with major issues of concern
to print and broadcast journalists such as libel,
privacy, and use of the Freedom of Information Act.
Prerequisites: MCOM 211.
