EENT 220B Digital Logic Design
220. DIGITAL LOGIC DESIGN (Credit, 3
hours) (Lec., 3 hours). Designed to introduce
number system conversions, logic gates and their
truth tables, Boolean law and theorems,
Karnaugh simplification maps, Sum-of-Products
and Product-of-Sums methods, etc. The use of
algebraic and geometric techniques are covered
to enable students to design efficient, reliable,
and cost-effective combinational and sequential
arithmetic and data processing circuits and
memories. Prerequisite: EENT 212.
