CHEM 450B Instrumental Analysis
450. INSTRUMENTAL ANALYSIS (Credit, 3
hours) (Lec., 3 hours; Lab, 4 hours). Course deals
with the principles and applications of major
instruments to various types of analyses. Emphasis
is placed on electroanalytical methods, various
absorption methods (such as UV, IR, NMR, and
x-ray), mass spectrometry, and chromatographic
methods. Prerequisites: CHEM 242, 243, 221,
231, 313, and 315.
