495. INTERNSHIP IN ACCOUNTING (CREDIT, 3 Hours). This course provides an
opportunity for students to gain practical accounting experience through
on-the-job assignments at businesses and institutions in the local area.
Accounting students spend 12 hours a week doing such field work.
Prerequisite: Permission of Departmental Chairperson.
498. INDEPENDENT STUDY IN ACCTG (CREDIT, 3 Hours). This course provides an
opportunity for students to participate in special research projects or study
contempoary issues in accounting. Prerequisite: Permission of Departmental
Chairperson.
