COUN 501. THEORIES AND TECHNIQUES OF COUNSELING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY (Credit, 3 hours). Major theories of counseling as they apply to helping situations; supervised experiences in role playing utilizing major approaches to counseling; lectures, discussions, technology integration; practice in case study analysis and interviewing.
