PSYC 303B Field Experience
303. FIELD EXPERIENCE (Credit, 3 hours).
A supervised field experience that provides students with practical training in a human services, behavioral health, or psychology-related agency. Students observe and participate, as appropriate, in the delivery of services to diverse populations while integrating psychological theory, ethical principles, and professional practices into real-world settings. Emphasis is placed on professional development, communication, ethical conduct, and the application of psychological knowledge within community-based agencies. Students are required to complete a minimum of 100 clock hours at an approved placement site under qualified supervision. Prerequisites: SPSY 201B and PSYC 445B or PSYC 468B, with a minimum grade of C in each prerequisite course.
