468. ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY (Credit, 3
hours). Studies the characteristics, etiology, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders using current scientific and clinical perspectives. Emphasis is placed on major theoretical models, evidence-based practices, and the application of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) in understanding psychopathology. Prerequisite: SPSY 201B: General Psychology with a minimum grade of C.
