SEGN 621B Research Methodology I

SEGN 621. RESEARCH METHODS I (3 credit hours). This course introduces basic research concepts (e.g., the specific method, hypotheses, variables, sampling, etc.) and explores five major categories of research method used in education (e.g., experimental, causal-comparative, descriptive, qualitative, and historical). Descriptive, parametric, and nonparametric statistical concepts and procedures are also addressed where appropriate.
