ENTX 799B Toxicology Research Practicum

ENTX 799 TOXICOLOGY RESEARCH PRACTICUM (Credit, 3-6 hours). This course provides the opportunity for students to conduct basic and applied research under the direction of an Environmental Toxicology faculty member. Students will develop questions related to toxicological research and conduct practical research aimed at answering the question. Emphasis will placed on the use of ¿the scientific method¿, making scientific observations, and recording data. Emphasis will also be placed on data analysis, interpretation and data presentation in the form of abstracts, scientific papers, and research proposals. This course is open only to those students who have not yet qualified for candidacy.
