EMPA 515B Public Policy

EMPA 515. PUBLIC POLICY. This course introduces the process, issues, concepts, arenas, and actors involved in public policy making. Course topics include: processes (planning, decision-making, implementation and evaluation), institutions, typologies, and outcomes. A wide range of public policies which affect, for example, labor, energy, business, health welfare, consumers, civil rights, the environment, education, and agriculture will be covered.
