229B. STATICS AND DYNAMICS FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS (Credit, 4 hours). Introduction to elementary particle and Newtonian mechanics; vector algebra; determination of resultants; equations of equilibrium, friction, centroids, particles kinematics and kinetics, relative motion, work-energy equation, linear and angular momentum, and impact. Prerequisites: SMAT 212B and SPHY 213B.
